Jeddah: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Saudi Arabia for a four-day official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation. According to reports, he was received at Jeddah by Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah Jalawi and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
During his visit from March 19 to 22, as reported by Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, enhance economic cooperation, and promote investment between the two countries.
The Prime Minister's delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, along with key federal ministers and senior officials.
A significant meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is expected, where both leaders will discuss expanding trade, increasing cooperation in key sectors, and facilitating broader economic collaboration.
Their discussions will also cover mutual concerns, including global and regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza and the evolving landscape in the Middle East. Issues concerning the Muslim Ummah will also be a priority on the agenda.
